BUTTERFLY WINGS

Quando procuro um editorial, normalmente aqueles que prendem a minha atenção ou são extremamente simples e valem por aquilo que transmitem, sem muitos ornamentos ou encenação, ou por outro lado, como neste caso têm algo de teatral e peculiar, (acho que é esta a palavra certa) para definir imagens que não vivem apenas da perfeição do styling ou da maquilhagem, mas que de certa maneira têm um elemento "perturbador". Neste caso a  BORBOLETA é explorada em todas as suas dimensões, na sua delicadeza e coloração, mas há também algo de surreal e alegórico na forma como elas são posicionadas ou como cada uma das peças reflecte a sua forma.

Usually the editorials that catch my attention are extremely simple, without too many embelishments or as in this case, are teatrical and quirky, I think this is the right word to define images that do not live only on the perfection of the styling or makeup, but somehow have a "disturbing" element. 
In this case the beauty of butterflies is explored in all its dimensions, in its delicacy and color, but somehow there is also something surreal and allegorical in each image and in the way how each piece reflects the butterfly shape.
